About this puzzle
Extreme puzzles hide long, uncommon words — “quintessential”, “perpendicular”, “onomatopoeia” — in a crowded 15×15 grid, running forwards, backwards and on every diagonal.
Many letters are shared between words and the filler is chosen to look like real English, so there are plenty of false starts. Bring patience, and a timer.
How to play
- Choose a level: Easy, Medium or Hard.
- Find a word from the list in the grid and drag across it — or tap its first letter, then its last letter.
- Found words are highlighted and crossed off. Clear the whole list to finish.
Tips
- Look for rare letter pairs such as “QU”, “XY” or “PH”; they usually belong to a hidden word.
- Search one direction at a time, including right-to-left and bottom-to-top.
- Use the Hint button sparingly — it reveals only the first letter.
